Date for name of the wind successor fixed?

Usually i write in German here, but just having looked into my feed reader (which archives also RSS headlines after they are removed from the blog), I thought this might be of wider interest:
Patrick Rothfuss, author of “Name of the wind” (Der Name des Windes) (which is by the way the best Fantasy book since Lord of the Rings, in my opinion)
had a blog entry titled “I said I’d tell you when I knew….” with the teaser “Wherein there is news.”.
Unfortunately, the entry has already been deleted as of this morning. But could that have been a message on the second volume of “Name of the Wind”, which will probably be called “The Wise Man’s Fear” according to Wikipedia (and some of his blog entrys I don’t find so fast)?

eBooks – so wird’s nichts.

Die Buchmesse läuft ja jetzt so richtig offiziell. Und alles geht um’s eBook – interessant find ich die Download Days bei libreka. Das erste Mal, dass ich Lust hatte ein eBook zu kaufen.
Gut der Markt steht am Anfang, eBook Reader, die weit über meiner Schmerzgrenze bepreist sind (ich wil kein Handy/WLAN Gerät – ich will weniger als 100€ dafuer zahlen, mein Laptop hat schon USB, mit meinem Handy kann ich MicroSD schreiben – wozu 9Geräte mit 10 Verträgen?), Konkurrierende Formate, verzweifelte DRM Versuche. Was ein Quatsch. Genauso, wie ich fast keien MP3s kaufe, weil ich lieber für die CD bezahle und mir das dann selber rippe, würde ich mir kein neues potentielles Lieblingsbuch als eBook kaufen – warum gibt’s nicht, für nen geringen Aufpreis, die Möglichkeit ne Kombination Buch+ebook zu erstehen? dann hätt ich was im Regal, was ich haptisch begreifen kann, was mir nicht vom Verkäufer gelöscht werden kann. Damit hätten eBooks AFAIK ne Chance im Massenmarkt. So? Nehm ich die kostenlosen eBooks mit und geh weiter tote Bäume mit Aufdruck kaufen. Und für Vinyl+MP3 hab ich sowas schon gesehen. Funktioniert also. Wenn man will.
